This low carb chili is a keeper right here, never even miss the beans in this guy! This low carb turkey chili is paired pretty darn perfectly with my cheesy jalapeno no corn cornbread recipe.
Low Carb Turkey Chili
This low carb turkey chili is so tasty, just the right amount of kick and you don't even miss the beans. Perfect for those cool fall evenings, and pairs nicely with my no corn cornbread recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Ground Turkey
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 can Whole Ortega Chiles, diced
- 1-2 Fresh jalapenos, diced (seeds optional)
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 14 oz. Fire Roasted Tomatoes
- 14 oz. Tomato Sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 3 T Chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Combine spices in a bowl. Set aside.
- Chop up onions, and Ortega green chilies and saute in pan with 1 T olive oil.
- Add meat and spices to pan and cook until brown.
- Add fire roasted tomatoes and tomato sauce, combine. Simmer for at least 20 minutes.
- This turkey is so tasty. I personally love it best the next day after it has had time to let the flavors settle. It pairs nicely with my cheesy jalapeno no corn cornbread. Enjoy!
